Try it, right now
This is the real API — the same validation, the same rules, the same responses your software would get. It runs in the sandbox, so nothing here reaches a revenue system or anybody's office. Change the document, send it, and watch what comes back.
What the API answered
Three things worth trying
- Send the same document twice. The second time you get
200instead of201and the same document — a retry after a timeout can never ask a revenue system for a second receipt for one sale. - Break it on purpose. Delete the
lines, or changetotalto 9999. The error names the field and, for the total, tells you what the lines actually add up to. - Look at the number that comes back. It is stamped
SBX. A sandbox result that looked real is a sandbox result somebody eventually files with the revenue office.
The same thing, from your own software
curl -X POST https://adera.com.et/v1/documents \ -H "Authorization: Bearer adera_test_…" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d @document.json
That is the whole integration. The developer page has the other four calls, and they fit on one screen.
